She was living with her two daughters Anna and Carrie. After she died, they brought her husbands, Franz Steltenpohl, body from Ferdinand to Louisville to be next to her. This is true because I am a direct desendant of Franz and Caroline Steltenpohl. My grandfather was his son Henry that married Catherine Niehaus. My father was Bernard Steltenpohl. I have a picture of the tombstone that another cousin took in Louisville about 5 years ago. If you have any questions on this, please let me know. |

She actually moved to Louisville after Franz her husband died and lived with two of her daughters. She died in Louisville while living with them and was buried in Louisville. Franz's body was then moved to Louisville to be buried beside of her. I know this for a fact because I am a direct descendant of her. I also went to Louisville several years ago and took a picture of the grave. My grandfather was her son Henry Steltenpohl and my father was Bernard, Henry's son. Just to give you some background of myself and the knowledge of the family. |
